My story begins with my grandfather in West Virginia — a widower who raised eight children on his own. He could not read or write, yet he worked tirelessly in the coal mines to provide for his family, relying on the land to help feed them. His strength and sacrifice laid the foundation for everything I believe in today.
Raised by a hardworking single mother, I learned early on that nothing in life is given — everything is earned through hard work, dedication, and perseverance.
I became a father at a young age and faced one of the toughest challenges of my life when my child was born with a serious heart condition. Determined to provide, I worked long, demanding hours as a union truck driver to support my family during those difficult times.
Wanting more for my family, I made the decision to pursue a new path. While continuing to drive a truck, I went back to school and built a career in real estate. Through hard work and determination, I became a successful real estate agent, then a broker, and eventually a business owner for over 35 years.
As a lifelong resident of Dundalk, a father of four, and married for 52 years, I understand firsthand the challenges that working families face every day.
In 2010, I stepped up to run for the House of Delegates because I wanted to be a voice for my community and help move Maryland forward. Even after that election, I remained deeply involved, advocating for the people and the place I proudly call home.
In 2014, I was honored to be elected to represent my district. I made a promise to work hard, stand up for our community, and fight for meaningful change — and I have worked every day to keep that promise.
Now, I humbly ask for your continued support and your vote on Election Day so we can keep building on the progress we’ve made — moving Maryland forward, not backward.
Because for me, this has never been about politics — it’s about people, community, and keeping the promises we make.
Promises Made. Promises Kept.
